Bril is one of India's premier manufacturer, exporter and supplier of Ball pens, Sketch pens, Fountain pens, Permanent Markers, Stamp pads, Stamp pad inks, Office adhesives and various other stationery items.

Founded in 1964, the name BRIL has become synonymous with Fountain Pen Inks, particularly in the four southern states of India. With a wide and dedicated network of dealer outlets, the product commands a majority market share in these States.

Most of the manufacturing activities of the company are carried out at its two locations at Bangalore and Chennai. Taking advantage of its strong brand image, the company has recently come out with its new range of allied stationery products including writing instruments.

With the establishment of a plastic moulding facility, the company can now produce writing instruments like ballpoint pens, refills, fibretip pens, permanent marker pens and sketch pens. In all these writing instruments, the company has incorporated state-of-the-art technology from Japan, Germany and Switzerland by utilising Tips and Inks from these sources.

The company has exported writing instruments to USA, Canada and Sri Lanka.

Quality and Performance of products are constantly monitored and improved in the company's R&D laboratory which is recognised by the DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Their inks are made of quality conforming to the Bureau of Indian Standards and have been awarded the ISI mark.

Marketing and distribution of their products are undertaken through their agents district wise, and also directly through their fleet of a dozen delivery vans.

The company is constantly expanding its range of products by introducing new models of Ball Pens, Fineliner Pens, Roller Pens etc.
